Mag Bay History

Here’s little history on the brand that’s trending now.  After selling their iconic American brand, Cabo Yachts, Michael Howarth & his son Barrett pondered on when and if they’d ever build boats again.  As Barrett matured into a passionate young man, the dream of building boats once again came to fruition with the birth of Mag Bay Yachts.  Built in Adelanto, California just steps away from where they built thousands of Cabo Yachts they retained naval designer Michael Peters to design their next project.  Here the birth of the Mag Bay Yachts 33 Center Console.

Unlike other center consoles available in the market, Mag Bay features strong lines with a pronounced Carolina flare and tumblehome sides.  Built with a SVVT patented hull, high-end components, wiring superior to their competitors and as close to military specifications as possible, she is built with the same attention to detail that Cabo Yachts were once built.  The 33 Mag Bay was quickly turning heads.

Currently building hull #16 the 33 Center Console has evolved from a conceptual center console to a highly regarded and recognized tender to some of the best motoryachts and sport fish vessels.  On it’s own bottom or towed, the 15 Mag Bay’s on the market have travel thousands of nautical miles from the Northeastern United States, Cuba, Florida, British Virgin Islands, Caribbean, Mexico and West Coast of the Untied States.

For the most indiscriminating yachtsman looking for a boat he turns twice to say..”that’s my boat”.  If you are ready to embark on an adventure in a top of the line craft, contact us for a showing and demo.
